Brass Din 2353 Hydraulic Fittings
Eka High Pressure Fittings has been offering a world class range of brass parts for close to half a century and is counted amongst top brass products manufacturers. The time that we have spent in perfecting the art of manufacturing quality brass products gives us an edge over other manufacturers. The brasses are the most widely used and least expensive of the copper-based alloys. They possess relatively good corrosion resistance, moderately high strength, and in some compositions exceptionally good ductility and excellent forming characteristics when shaped by pressing, deep drawing, rolling and machining. Improved tensile properties are the result of cold working. After cold working, they can be softened and recrystallized by appropriate annealing. Adding lead to the brasses in amounts of 0.5 to 4%, results in free cutting of free-machining alloys in which the elemental lead is present as uniformly dispersed particles. The high content of lead results in a relatively low ductility and plasticity.

Due to its unique properties, which include corrosion resistance, common uses for brass include applications that require low friction. These applications can include fittings (fasteners and connectors), tools, appliance parts, and ammunition components
An example of brass is the metal used to for fittings in the piping systems that transfer explosive gases. An example of a brass is a trumpet. An example of brass are the Captains in the U.S. Navy. … The definition of brass is made of or coated with a yellowish metal basically made of copper and zinc.
Alloy 353 (also referred to as clock brass) is often used to fabricate precision components, such as clock and watch parts, because of its excellent machinability. Alloy 360. Also known as free cutting brass, this alloy is the most common type of brass.
Examples of common uses for the material include: Screw machine parts, such as nuts, bolts, couplings, connectors, valve stems, and pump shafts. Musical instruments, such as horns, trombones, trumpets, and tubas. Electrical equipment parts, such as hardware and contacts.
